Here are the lyrics:

The more i seek you, the more i find you.

The more i find you, the more I love you

I wanna sit at your feet drink from the cup in your hand. Lay back against you and breath, hear your heart beat

This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand. I melt in your peace, it’s overwhelming

The more i seek you, the more i find you.

The more i find you, the more I love you

I wanna sit at your feet drink from the cup in your hand. Lay back against you and breath, hear your heart beat

This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand. I melt in your peace, it’s overwhelming

I wanna sit at your feet drink from the cup in your hand. Lay back against you and breath, hear your heart beat

This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand. I melt in your peace, it’s overwhelming

I wanna sit at your feet drink from the cup in your hand. Lay back against you and breath, hear your heart beat

This love is so deep, it’s more than I can stand. I melt in your peace

Words can not express how much I love this song. It’s a song that you don’t need any instruments, it comes straight from the heart. I doesn’t matter whether you prefer gospel, christian rock, up tempo, whatever the intimacy is so real…it almost leaves you breathless. Ms. Kari, the Holy Spirit gave you that song girl!

I Don’t let People Touch my Feet

It’s amazing that we serve a God who is not embarrassed by our affiliation with Him. In Luke 8:36-50, we meet a women who was known in town as a prostitute but pulled the heart strings of Jesus.

Anointing His Feet

36-39 One of the Pharisees asked him over for a meal. He went to the Pharisee’s house and sat down at the dinner table. Just then a woman of the village, the town harlot, having learned that Jesus was a guest in the home of the Pharisee, came with a bottle of very expensive perfume and stood at his feet, weeping, raining tears on his feet. Letting down her hair, she dried his feet, kissed them, and anointed them with the perfume. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man was the prophet I thought he was, he would have known what kind of woman this is who is falling all over him.”

40 Jesus said to him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”

“Oh? Tell me.”

41-42 “Two men were in debt to a banker. One owed five hundred silver pieces, the other fifty. Neither of them could pay up, and so the banker canceled both debts. Which of the two would be more grateful?”

43-47 Simon answered, “I suppose the one who was forgiven the most.”

“That’s right,” said Jesus. Then turning to the woman, but speaking to Simon, he said, “Do you see this woman? I came to your home; you provided no water for my feet, but she rained tears on my feet and dried them with her hair. You gave me no greeting, but from the time I arrived she hasn’t quit kissing my feet. You provided nothing for freshening up, but she has soothed my feet with perfume. Impressive, isn’t it? She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal.”

48 Then he spoke to her: “I forgive your sins.”

49 That set the dinner guests talking behind his back: “Who does he think he is, forgiving sins!”

50 He ignored them and said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

She knew who she was, she knew the reputation she had. She knew that the shame was so great she had to come from behind Jesus and weep at His feet. She wouldn’t dare show her face, but she poured herself out. There were critics represent, who used this situation to reason that maybe Jesus is not who he said He was. After all, why would the son of God allow a tainted women near Him.  Let’s take a look at a modern  day approach. Sometimes, even church people come with all sort of issues. We question why they have to roll from one corner of the altar to other but there is revelation in their approach to God, “Their faith”. My favorite part is verse 50 “He ignored them and said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” But do you know what feet represent?  It represents one’s walk, heart, moral thinking and all that one stands for. This woman didn’t just kiss Jesus’s feet, she kissed His heart and tapped into His forgiveness. I don’t let people touch my feet. Feet are a very intimate place. You will see two types of people touching feet, children and couples. When babies are playing around, especially when they first start walking, they touch feet and sometimes put their own feet in their mouths. LOL. When you a see a couple that has been together for a while and their having an intimate moment, sometimes you know all it takes is touching a woman’s feet…AMEN! This woman was a babe in Christ and she touched the feet of her Father. She was having a public display of affection.

My #PUSH Tuesdays prayer point:

“May the Lord ignore the accusations of your enemies. Whether it be true or untrue, let the Mercy of God speak louder than their accusations. Let the Lord renew and strengthen your faith in Him as never before. Let the spirit of encouragement wrap it’s self around you, your embarrassment, your reproach and let the Lord pull it out and make you whole again. I pray you never will be embarrassed by your pursuit of God but that you understand that the more find Him, the more you’ll need Him. May your feet and all that it represents be secured. In Jesus name, amen.”

What I’m listening to

god-will-make-a-way

 Here are the lyrics:

“God Will Make A Way”

God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me
He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way
Oh, God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me
He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness, He’ll lead me And rivers in the desert will I see Heaven and Earth will fade but His Word will still remain And He will do something new today
Oh, God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me
He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way
With love and strength for each new day He will make a way, He will make a way

I needed to hear this song today. I love songs like these where is no hype, no outrageous runs or heavy breathing. I just want to be reminded of God’s faithful and that His mercy is renewed every morning. Happy Monday ya’ll!
